Motorcycle officer injured in crash in Bell Gardens
A police officer on a motorcycle was injured when he collided with a vehicle in the city of Bell Gardens according to authorities. Investigators say that the police officer was riding southbound when he hit a vehicle that was pulling out of a driveway. The officer was taken to a hospital close to the scene of the accident and the officer is going to make a full recovery. There has not been any comment as to who was at fault for the accident. The driver of the vehicle was not injured at all, but is traumatized from the ordeal and is seeking counseling. No charges have been filed on the driver of the vehicle and it is unknown if police will investigate the accident further. The Bell Gardens police department has not released a statement regarding the incident.
